Terms of Service
The rules that govern how you can use mhlsq.ro and how I collaborate with clients on paid work.
Using this website
This is a personal portfolio that showcases work, experiments, and ways to contact me. You may browse, link to, or share any public page as long as you do not misrepresent the content or attempt to breach the site's security.
Project engagements
Every engagement is scoped directly with you. Before work starts we will align on:
- Deliverables, milestones, timelines, and any dependencies you must provide.
- Access to staging environments, APIs, or data required to build or integrate the product.
- Review cadence (async updates, live calls, or shared dashboards).
Payments
- For small fixed-scope projects I typically invoice 50% upfront and 50% on delivery.
- Longer collaborations may follow milestone or monthly billing. Exact terms will be written into a statement of work.
- Invoices are payable in EUR or RON via bank transfer unless we agree on another method in writing.
Intellectual property
You own the bespoke work once invoices are paid in full. I retain rights to my underlying libraries, starter kits, or tools, and I may reuse generalised learnings on future projects. With your consent I may publish case studies, screenshots, or performance metrics in my portfolio.
Acceptable use
- Do not scrape or harvest data from mhlsq.ro for spam.
- Do not attempt to inject malicious scripts, DoS the infrastructure, or probe for vulnerabilities.
- Do not republish copy, graphics, or code snippets without attribution or a separate licence.
Disclaimer
I aim to keep every page accurate and available, but I cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free content. Services are provided “as is”.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. For paid work, liability is capped at the fees you have paid for the project phase in question.
Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts in Bucharest unless we mutually choose arbitration or another venue.
Questions
Please reach out at alexmihalascu@gmail.com if anything here is unclear. I am happy to discuss NDAs or custom clauses before we begin collaborating.
