RKC Rent-a-Car is a modern Progressive Web App for car rental services, featuring two distinct interfaces: a client-facing booking portal and a comprehensive administrative back-office. Built with React, Material UI, Emotion, and Firebase, it is fully installable on any device regardless of operating system.
Client Interface:
- Landing page with service overview and promotional content
- Dynamic vehicle listing with filtering by type, price, transmission, and availability
- Online booking flow with date selection and vehicle confirmation
- About Us and Reviews sections to build trust
- FAQ and contact section with direct WhatsApp redirect for instant communication
- Fully responsive with light and dark mode, customizable color themes and layouts
Administrative Interface:
- Fleet management: detailed vehicle profiles with attached documents, service history with photos and invoices, and PDF report generation
- Rental request management: view, approve, or reject booking requests; generate PDF invoices
- Customer management: client profiles with ID/license photo capture and automatic data extraction via Google Cloud Vision API
- Insurance claim filing: customizable by driver fault percentage, with electronic signatures and stamps
- Contract generation: up to four customizable annexes with electronic signature and stamp support
- Exportable statistics (Excel or PDF) for vehicles, insurers, rental requests, and contracts
- Kanban board for vehicle maintenance task tracking with priority settings
- Rental calendar for scheduling overview
- User management with role-based access control
Technology Stack: React, Material UI, Emotion, Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Vision API) - fully installable PWA.
