Website and booking system for an upholstery cleaning company in Bucharest: online quote requests, a calendar, time slots and push notifications for the team.

5Star Cleaning cleans sofas, armchairs, mattresses and seats. The project has two halves: the public website, which brings in quote requests, and the internal app where the team organises its bookings.

The public site

Every service has its own section, with what it includes and how the job is done
The quote form is validated with React Hook Form and Yup, and the request reaches the company by email through EmailJS
Fast pages built for SEO, with light Framer Motion animation

Bookings

Bookings are added, edited and tracked from the dashboard, each with its own detail page
The FullCalendar calendar shows jobs by day, week or as a list
The admin sets working hours and time slots, and the app checks a slot is free before it takes a booking

Team and notifications

Roles live in Firestore: the team sees bookings and the calendar, admins also get the schedule settings
For every new booking, admins get a push notification on their phone, sent by a Cloud Function through Firebase Cloud Messaging
The app installs as a PWA, so notifications arrive even with the browser closed

Tech stack: Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Material UI, FullCalendar, React Hook Form, Yup, Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging), EmailJS.
