MyAutoTrackr

Records for personal cars or a small fleet: documents with expiry dates, servicing, fuel use and costs, with charts for every car.

MyAutoTrackr keeps a car's whole history in one place: paperwork, repairs, refuelling and money spent. It works for a personal car and for a small company with a few cars to keep track of.

Documents

  • MOT, liability insurance, comprehensive cover and the road tax vignette are saved with their expiry date
  • On each car's page documents are listed by expiry, so the first one is the one to renew next

Servicing

  • Every job stays in the history with its date, mileage and cost
  • The history shows what a car has cost to maintain over time

Fuel

  • Every refuelling is logged and the app works out consumption
  • Charts show how consumption and fuel spending change over time

Account

  • Each user sees only their own cars, enforced by Firestore security rules
  • Light or dark theme, and on a phone it installs as a PWA

Tech stack: Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, React Query, Recharts, Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage), Vercel.
