RKC Rent-A-Car
The system behind a car rental company in Galați: a booking site for customers and a back office for the fleet, contracts, invoices and insurance claims.
RKC Rent-A-Car has two sides: the site where customers find and book cars, and the back office the company runs its whole operation from. It is a PWA, so it installs on any device.
The public side has a filterable car list, an about page with reviews, an FAQ, a contact form, a map of the office and a direct WhatsApp button. Visitors can switch the theme, colours and layout.
In the back office:
- customers, companies and insurers, with a photo of the ID card or driving licence that Google Cloud Vision reads to fill in the details
- a file for every car with documents, service history with photos and invoices, and a PDF report
- rental requests, accepted or rejected, with a generated PDF invoice
- contracts with up to four annexes and insurance claims shaped by driver fault, with electronic signature and stamp
- a rental calendar, a Kanban board for work on the cars, and users with roles
- statistics exportable to Excel or PDF
Stack: React, Material UI, Emotion, Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions) and the Google Cloud Vision API.
The app he built for our fleet works flawlessly. The client-facing interface, the admin module, auto-generated contracts - everything exactly as requested, delivered on time.
